Barnstable Village, Cape Cod Fishing Charters, Marinas, Boating and Fishing Resources and Supplies
Whether you prefer freshwater, saltwater or deep-sea fishing, Cape Cod has plenty of all three. Common species include perch, trout, largemouth bass, striped bass, flounder, cod, bluefish, tautog and many others.
Freshwater fishing licenses are available at local town halls, while shellfish permits are obtained at local Natural Resources Departments. These permits are also available through the Barnstable County Department of Natural Resources located at 1189 Phinney's Lane, Hyannis (508-790-6272).
Charters and party boats are easy to find by visiting most major marinas in the area.
